In exactly one month, our little baby girl is going to be FIVE.
I just love this little person so much:
Is she not just adorable?! She is so excited, because she says she "almost fits in mommy's shoes".
This same little girl has been planning her fifth birthday since, ohhhhh the day after her 4th :)
Ice cream.
As in that was the theme. As in I already had it all mentally prepped (I mean, I did have a year here, people) and pinned to the last detail.
And then, out of nowhere all talk turned to snowflakes. I'm not sure what triggered the change, but we now have a snowflake party on our hands.
At least it's more season appropriate, ha! She didn't officially decide on this theme until after the New Year - as in if I reeeeeally hustled, I might be able to find a few items left on clearance. And I was able to scrounge up a few items - phew. At this point, I basically have big hopes for me and my Cricut machine.
Here's a little inspiration I'm looking at:
I want it to have a romantic, girly vibe with a color pallet of grays, pinks, and cremes:
Aside from the ornaments I was able to snag on clearance, I found a few items at Goodwill - yarn, wrapping paper, and sweaters in my color scheme (any ideas what I'm using them for??)
Here's a peak at some of the goodies we have so far:
These ornaments are really the inspiration for the jumping off point to this party. I love the vintage-y feel they they have:
Since Cayden's last two parties have been rainbow colored (like the Care Bear party we threw last year), I am over the moon excited about throwing a girly party.
Fingers crossed we still have a little bit of snow left around to enjoy it :)
xo,
Rachel
Love this!!
